Donalee Markus, Ph.D., founder of Designs for Strong Minds (DSM), has helped individuals, corporations (McDonalds, Ameritech, Coopers & Lybrand, United States Federal Court System, Quaker Oats) and our top NASA and scientists maximize their intellectual potential and their capacity to learn. She was introduced to the power of cognitive restructuring while working with renowned Israeli psychologist Reuven Feuerstein. Since 1982, she has dedicated her life's work to changing people's lives through brain plasticity. The brain is the most plastic organ in the human body. Markus’ extensive work with mild to moderate post traumatic head injuries was published in the February 2007 edition of the Annals of Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North America (pg;109-131). In addition Mark Henricks, from Entrepreneur Magazine reviewed her book Retrain Your Business Brain, in which he called her work "yoga for the brain".

We will hold roundtable discussions each month to explore the issues and challenges HR Professionals face as well as exchange ideas and learn from one another. In order to bring you the topics that are most relevant to your role and career level these roundtables will be geared toward separate groups each month include

Experienced HR Professionals (with more than 5 years of HR Experience)

The “Last Minute” course is offered for 2-1/2 days and consists of a 225-question sample certification exam with follow-up explanation of questions and exam tips.

Cancellation Policy

Two weeks prior to the start of class - You may send someone to take your place or cancel without penalty at any time up to two weeks prior to the start date of your class.
Between one and two weeks prior to the start date of your class - You may send someone to take your place without penalty or you can cancel and provided the book is returned in good condition & unopened, you will be refunded the full cost full cost of the class, less a 15% admin fee.
Less than one week notice - You may send someone to take your place without penalty, provided you send the unopened book to your replacement at your cost.
Less that 1 week - If you provide SHRP with less then one week notice of your cancellation, you will be liable for the entire course fee.
